Magnuson Park Gallery
Magnuson Park Gallery presents 6 exhibitions each year, focusing on the work of unrepresented and underrepresented artists, curators, and collectives. The gallery’s mission is to highlight diverse voices in the visual arts to create exhibitions that are accessible and meaningful to the community. Magnuson Park Gallery provides an inclusive public platform that fosters artistic expression and cultural dialogue.
The gallery hosts a range of events, including artist receptions, artist talks, workshops, and live demonstrations, giving the public a chance to engage directly with artists and their creative processes. The gallery is also available as a rental space for pop-up exhibits and creative events.
Exhibitions
Magnuson Park Gallery provides an active space for art in Magnuson Park and over 11 years in the park we have welcomed a broad range of artistic styles. The Gallery is free and open to the public. Shows usually run for about 6 weeks. Please join us to view our latest exhibitions. Everyone is welcome.

What are Magnuson Park Gallery’s hours?
When an exhibition is on display, the Magnuson Park Gallery is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 – 3 P.M. Check the Calendar page for our open days and dates and any holiday closures. The gallery occasionally has special dates and times that it is open. You can find those times on the Calendar.
Groups are welcome to visit during our regularly scheduled hours. The Gallery may also be able to schedule a time for your group to visit by appointment outside the regularly scheduled hours. You can contact us on the Contact form or at [email protected].
Where are you located and where can I park?
Magnuson Park Gallery is located in Building 30 West in Magnuson Park. You can find the street address and a map on our Contact page.
There is ample free parking in Magnuson Park. On Saturdays and days where there are big events happening in the Park, it may take a little time to find a spot. View our parking map on the Contact page.
Do I need tickets to visit the Gallery?
Admission to the Gallery is free and tickets are not required.
Where is the accessible entrance?
The Building 30 West accessible entrance is located at the North end of Building 30 West. There is a locked door, and you must call the gallery phone and we can give you access. You can also contact us in advance to arrange for access. Find more information and a map on our Contact page.Â
Are service dogs permitted in the gallery?
The Gallery welcomes service dogs.
Please note: Emotional support animals and comfort animals are not permitted, and pets are not permitted in Seattle Parks buildings.
When is the next Building 30 West Artists’ Open Studios event?
Our next Open Studios is in late Spring 2026. Please check our Calendar for the date.
Do you have a restaurant or cafe?
We do not have a cafe. The Magnuson Cafe and Brewery is located at the very north end of Magnuson Park and has amazing views of Lake Washington.
